Where to use?

1. Short-term treatment of inflammatory conditions including joint disorders like Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis.
2. It helps relieve Musculoskeletal pain that affects bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, or muscles.
3. Nimesulide also provides relief from post-operative pain, post-traumatic pain, menstrual cramps, and lower back pain.

How to use?

1. Nimesulide 100-mg tablet should be accompanied by a meal to prevent gastrointestinal disturbance. 
2. It is advised for patients to start with small doses of Nimesulide for a few days to acquire control over the symptoms.
3. The standard dosage of Nimesulide is 100mg, twice a day.

What are the possible side effects?

1. Gastrointestinal disturbances (epigastric pain, heartburn, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting)
2. Skin reactions (rash and pruritus) 
3. CNS effects (dizziness, somnolence, headache)
4. Hepatic adverse events, ranging from mild abnormal liver function to severe liver injuries, including fatal hepatic failure in a few cases.

Safety Advise:

1. Patients with bronchial asthma are advised to use Nimesulide with caution.
2. It is advised to consult your doctor in case you are pregnant/breastfeeding or planning to conceive. 

Nimesulide Dynamics

1. Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal, anti-inflammatory Drug (NSAID), a medication prescribed for pain relief and curing fever.
2. The approved indications of the drug include treatment of acute pain, symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults.
3. It could also be prescribed and used to relieve menstrual cramps and inflammation. 
4. Nimesulide is not recommended for long-term, chronic conditions like arthritis, as it poses an increased risk of liver toxicity and liver failure.
